Just go see him live... I saw him in Praxis:Transmutation (a bill laswell project which included DJ Disk from the skratch piklz, soulslinger from jungle sky, bernie worrell from pfunk, and maybe a few others)... It was really amazing, the loudest thing I've ever heard. If you can imagine ambient heavy metal, you're halfway to figuring out what praxis sounded like... I think they have an album or two out with a similar lineup... I know Laswell has a website somewhere, and there was an article on Buckethead in a recent Wire... Buckethead was unreal, both in his playing, and sheer theatricality — he plays guitar with all manner of odd objects (hell, he plays with a bucket on his head... hence the name), he looks like some horror-movie refugee and he just rocked hard ;-) Sam

Colma is pretty mellow, yet its has a soulful depth that prevents it from being akin to some trite Windam Hill guitar album. Similar to the mellower moments of Nicky Skopelitis album "Ekstasis".
