You have: . Redcell: Interim/Outerim/Fear 12" (B12-08) It is the third of the three Redcell 12"s released back in 1993. The white vinyl copy that you have was limited to 300 copies so you have a real treasure there. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

The 2001 Space Age ep on the b12 label was limited to a pressing if 300 copies on orange translucent vinyl. I believe it was released in late 1991. I don't think the tracks on that record have appeared anywhere else so that is a real treasure. But then again, I consider all B12 releases treasures. : ) -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

'Redcell' is another name Michael Golding & Steve Rutter went under. Just for further info to that which Lance gave, the 'B12 presents Redcell' tracks "Interim", "Outerim" may both also to be found on B12CD1 "Redcell:Stasis", & the track "Fear" may br found in a shortened version which, entitled "Soundtrack of Fear", also appears on B12CD1. Something else to note of this release is the massive amount of etching into the vinyl inbetween the two B side tracks - including "(dedicated to all the somaites worldwide)". Lance is ineffably always the best source, but I can but try :-) Rubyjune. ---- <http://www.rjune.demon.co.uk/>

In true detroit style there is *always* a large amount of etchings in every B12 release, check these out: B1202, Side A: "The Journey Continues..." "On the first leg of your journey from Earth to the Moon..." "You are aboard the spaceliner Orion..." Side B: "And here...at the end of your journey...you will meet the powers that watched over the birth of our species...and have been waiting ever since for us to emerge from our planetary cradle...BTWELVE" B1204, Side A: "Where have all the people gone?" "The path narrows...we stay on it...the door closes...can we stop it?" "Ecology...Psychology...Technology...Musicology" Side B: "BTwelve present future past" "We are running out of time" B1205, Side A: "Redcell 1992: The retreat from the unpleasant world of reality continues to dominate our lives...until one retreat makes way for reality to follow" Side B: "With your eyes you see...with your mind you think...with your ears you...feel!!!" B1206, Side A: "The third series" Side B: "What is Techno?" "The missing link!" B1208, Side B: "dedicated to all the Somaites worldwide" B1210, Side A: "Bio Mechanical Digital Music" Side B: "Cmetric.Cektions" B1211, Side A: "Stasis-A condition in which time passes very slowly:Ratios can be as high as a billion years of real time to a few seconds in Stasis, (an object in Stasis is very nearly invulnerable)" Side B: "Stasis would like to thank: B12, T.I.R.S., 2Daves, Paul S., Neuron Atmosphere & Likemind: You have reached the point of no return..." So, you see, lots of stuff :) And if anyone can fill in the gaps then cool (B1214.1 and B1214.2 have nothing etched in them). - Ben -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions http://www.hybridgame.demon.co.uk/

I can add that B1208 has nothing etched into the A side but the B has, along with "(dedicated to all the Somaites worldwide)" etchings which read "INTERIM (intarim) adj. TEMPORAY PROVISINAL or INTERVENING (belonging to an intervening time) ~ (during the interim)" [note: their spelling and punctuation] and "all things conceived by M.GOLDING & S. RUTTER". Also, I can shed some light on B1209 (though if anyone knows any more about it I'd be delighted to hear). It's a cassette only release entitled "PRELUDE" which contains 18 tracks of otherwise unreleased material, interview material, and alternate mixes. I dug this out a couple of weeks ago to tape something for a fellow listmember and, I'd forgotten for a while, but it's VERY fine stuff :-) Rubyjune.

Here is the story on B12-09 It was originally released as a limited edition cassette in some fancy artistic box. I believe only 300 cassettes were made. But because of demand the cd was later repressed as a cd limited to 500 copies. The cassette & cd consisted of interview segments and music tracks, some previously releases, others not. Here is the tracklisting: 1. Interiew tidbit. 2. Outerim (taken from B1208) 3. Drift-outro (taken from Electro Soma lp) 4. Interview tidbit 5. Hall of Mirrors-mix ii (taken from B1206) 6. Basic Rhythm (Previously Unreleased) 7. Cymetry-cektion (Previously Unreleased) 8. Interview tidbit 9. Tomorrow is Yesterday (Previously Unreleased) 10. Interview tidbit 11. Telefone 529-dub mix (taken from B1201) 12. Binary Fault (Previously Unreleased) 13. Interview tidbit 14. Ancient egypt (Previously Unreleased) 15. Shadow of a former self-intro (Previously Unreleased) 16. Interview tidbit 17. Pantone 137 (Previously Unreleased) 18. Cqual-intro (taken from B1210) So there's the story. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
