hi all, a couple of questions involving philip glass, which really isn't what this list is about at all, but they both involve idm, so 1) is the aphex twin remix of glass's "heroes" (available supposedly on a 3" cd that came with the japanese version of the cd) available anywhere outside japan (over the net?) is it worth getting? 2) a couple of months ago, i went to a play which had as background music some autechreish stuff which sounded very much like it sampled glass's "eintstein on the beach". does anyone have any idea what this might be? back to lurking, dan

you can download the real audio @: http://www.toptown.com/centralpark/thechurch/afxtunes/heroes.ra
quoted 1 line is it worth getting?>is it worth getting?
erm... possibly. it's really just the orchestral version with the original bowie lyrics on top. a couple of afx-isms, also. btw, for those interested. all my audio from my now down afx site is still there: ftp://ftp.sonic.net/pub/users/brap/incoming/ab5.ra (analouge bubblebath 5) http://www.toptown.com/centralpark/thechurch/afxtunes/phild.ra (Phild) http://www.toptown.com/centralpark/thechurch/afxtunes/ghost.ra (powerpill ghost mix) http://www.toptown.com/centralpark/thechurch/afxtunes/titanic.ra (raising the titanic mix) just be sure to get 'em all via http because toptown doesn't like anonomus ftp-ers and sorry, no streaming. (aside ab5, which you can stream through pnm://www.sonic.net/brap/ab5.ra, unless brap took it down) mlt.noz.
