I can only speak for the UK, but _Bluff Limbo_ has definitely been released here. I'm looking at the sleeve now. Hmmmmmm. adam p.s. I haven't listened to it yet as I still have to buy a new turntable. Should I risk it on the old one? p.s. again - thanks to all those who have suggested IDM videos - I'll pass the information on

Ok Mates, I talked to some about The mu-ziq Bluff Limbo releases. From what I am told it is suppose to make to the U.S. in three weeks. This one distributor said that Rephlex sends stuff to UK distributor, and they send them to US distributors. The US distributors then send then to the record stores. I am told this takes three weeks. Modern Music said that they will get tons of copies of Bluff Limbo, as soon as they make it to the States, here's their email modernmusic@earthlink.net +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+ | Bill Samuels | | wls@U.Arizona.EDU | +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+

Desn't sound right to me. Here in NYC we usually get Rephlex records the same week they come out in the UK. I could understand slight delays for more out-of-the-way places, but three weeks? - Matthew

I've called around and so far no one seems to have gotten Bluff Limbo in the States, yet. Modern Music said they would get it in on Wednesday, if you want to order it email modernmusic@earthlik.net, I think it cost $18.99 but I'm not positive. +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+ | Bill Samuels | | wls@U.Arizona.EDU | +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+

I have a question about Bluff Limbo, particularly my copy of it: I bought my copy of u-ziq's Bluff Limbo about a year or so ago. The thing is, it has no track titles on it anywhere, the 12"s are totally black with nothing written on....in short, there is no writing anywhere on it! except for a small u-ziq logo sticker at the top right hand corner of the cover. Do I have a promo version here? or does everyone's copies have no titles/writing? - Ben --

I found a copy of the Bluff Limbo double vinyl for $20 today. I picked it up and put it back down again about 10 times. I liked Tango n Vectif and I love Lunatic Harness.. but I thought Salsa With Mesquite and (especially) Urmer Bile Trax sucked. Which side do you think Bluff Limbo would fall on? If it were on CD, I could get an idea by listening to it in the store.. but they only have it on vinyl. Any thoughts?

Bluff Limbo falls damn close to Tango n Vectif. Did rephlex finally release B.L. proper? ;-) AMP np: s.a.w.2

Bluff Limbo is my favorite, I apologize to all of you who think Tango is the best, I bought bluff first and still can't see why people think it's their favorite. Bluff is great because Mike goes into so many different styles rather than the monophonic sounding Tango. Salsa was good, I loved "Balsa Lightning", what doesn't salsa go good on? But I highly recommend Bluff Limbo! Buy buy buy.... Rusty

Well if this record could talk this it what it would say: BUY ME! PLAY ME! I am Bluff Limbo. You are assimilated. Resistance is futile (because I'm at LEAST as good as T'n'V). If you haven't gotten it by now. I love this record. For me one of the best IDM LPs of all time of course together with A collection of short stories. Marc
