anybody know MMM's email addy? i looked around at 'a site for sore ears' but didn't find it. he lists, with american ambient techno radio shows, the show i recently took over and renamed. i think it would be ultra cool to be on his web page, so i need to ask him to update it... thanks, matt

Another quickie recommendation. . . Mixmaster Morris (aka, Irresistible Force) presents "It's Tomorrow Already". . . .and already, I'm in sonic bliss heaven. Harkening back to the days of Flying High, there are lots of soundbytes sprinkled throughout this wonderful soundscape. Nepalese Bliss is currently my favorite track, mainly because I'm always a sucker for deep, resonant, sweeping analogue washes. The one that serves as the backbone for this track is very well textured. And the plentiful samples hinting at types of drugs (I think?) give this track a nice humorous touch to it as well. In fact, all of the tracks have a good feeling to them, including one which even has Mr. Rodgers featured! Can you guess which one, boys and girls? -- jr

The MMM stuff is pretty anonymous white label releases with stamps on the label - mainly techno but on a funky cut-up tip, kind of Basement Jaxx type stuff but more minimal. Pretty good stuff. One release (I forget if it's _Donna_ or not has lots of lock-grooves of sped-up James Brown style loops. Think its a German outfit but possibly not - its cut at D&M anyway. Definitely worth checking if you want to spice up a techno set. || [CiM] || cim_@hotmail.com || - ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
