How about the sountrack for Judgement Night? I actually liked some songs on that...hip-hop/alternative or hiphop/metal duo's for every song... Ali "It means we'll manage I'll master your language And in the meantime I'll create my own" (Tricky)

come now. some of us are quite fond of more traditional types of music. 2 best recent releases: mu-ziq: lunatic harness the riverdales: storm the streets and that's how it goes.

What an utter disappointment. Every single track on here sounds like what I used to imagine "Battle of the Bands" was as a kid. Two bands fighting it out accoustically for dominance. The Orbital/Kirk Hammett version of Satan sounds like something Gavin Hardkiss would come up with for a live gig. Some bozo playing screaming guitar while the DJ plays "Satan" in the background. Although I was looking forward to this album, I just find myself wishing the "other" band on each track would SHUT UP.

public enemy did that back in 1988! "she watch channel zero" == slayer "angel of death" + james brown breakbeat + chuck d & flav at their peak == pure aural extasy! i guess the key difference is that PE were good. make that great, actually. now playing: i just walked in to the office from lunch and my officemates are pumping It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back. yes!! after this i will subject them all to senor coconut. -- Jon Drukman jsd@gamespot.com SpotMedia Communications ...I was an infinitely hot and dense dot...
