I finished my index of sites with IDMish audio online. It's at http://zerius.victoria.bc.ca/~manny/audiolinks.html I'm sure I missed lots, so send me any additions! Also, I don't recall hearing much about the East-Westrencism compilation. Maybe I just missed it. What do people think of this? And lastly, I picked up Pulusha - Isolation on Universal Language the other day. Part one is beautiful (so is part two, but part one stands out). The style reminds me of Ae's VLetrmx21 from Garbage and of Arvo Part's later works. What else should I pick up in this sort of ambient? That is all. there is another dot i think: i saw a cd today by a band called "The Happiest Guys in the World", and it was DOT003. every track's title ended in an exclamation point (i.e. I Love Clowns! This Is A Pleasant Day! etc) and I considered buying it just because it made me feel very warm inside. instead I bought: cylob- diof 97 very good and more consistant than some of his other releases, though lacking emotion. the record store had it filed under squarepusher to capitilize on that artist's recent and growing trendiness. squarepusher: hard normal daddy ok, i am a trendy guy, but a bit behind on this one. meant to get it a month ago but ran out of funds. now i have it and am very pleased. it's not the manic drums that i like but the lovely melodies on tracks like beep street and papalon. beep street sounds like a reject from AFX's RDJ album, but rejected for being too fkn good. mu-ziq: my little beautiful fan-stounding. doesn't the begining of track three sound familiar? looking forward to tuesday. coil: stolen and contaminated songs got it used. better than any of the above mentioned albums, but it's so different it's hardly worth comparing. rejects and bits from LSD plus other stuff. "Who'll Fall" is amazing. so's the rest of it. boredoms: super roots not applicable. opal: happy nightmare baby not applicable. bye.
