What you're looking for I believe is "Celestial Soul". Came out around '95 I think. New Electronica's the label I believe. It's been a while since I've gave that one a listen. Since your a Detroitio fan, I think you really need to get that one. I used to have it in stock until about a week ago. I may be able to get a copy of it on vinyl only. Otherwise, I'd say get down to that store ASAP and get it. You'll never see it again. At least not new anyway. Russ Gabriel- Well, this chap has been around for a while.( I first heard him in ' 94.) He's released countless quality pieces on several various labels (Soma, Soul on Wax, GPR...) He tends to stick with top quality tech-house in style, but, is known to break out some rather haunting and beautiful IDM-ish trax. Probably his biggest highlight to date is his one album on input neuron (sub-label of GPR) called "Voltage Control". This album is still getting much attention through out the electronica scene. Russ also does quite a bit of rmxing for people as well. Definately one to watch for through the coming years. Each project I hear from him, gets better and better. I always seem to put him in the same perpective as Richard Brown. Producer, Musician, RMXER, all around "can do it all" catagory. Russ appears in various mags from time to time for interviews and reviews of his music. Keep your eyes peeled. Hope this helps in some way. Ben Synaptic Records (Rick and Ben) 608 S.
