Just listened to the new Yo La Tengo single, and there's definitely a bit of post-rock Tortoise noodling going on. Check out the remixes too: Tortoise (minus John McEntire, strangely), u-Ziq, and Kevin Shields. Shields' mix has some very (and I repeat), very mild breakbeats. u-Ziq's is pretty laidback as well, though there's a few beats in the middle. None of the three get a recommendation; I actually liked the original best of all. What Does It All Mean? John Bush
