found this in a mag if anyone's interested: 'New! Theremin: Unknown Electronic Pioneer Fascinating look at an almost unknown Russian electronic genius. Theremin pioneered the field of electronic music 40 years before the rise of Electronic Rock and helped usher in technological warfare between the Super Powers. At the height of his popularity in the US, he was kidnapped by Soviet agents and forced to develop spy technology for the soviet spy service, But Theremin left a legacy which rockers would use to help launch their own revolution. They showed this one last year on Finnish TV. Essential stuff, IMHO. Too bad Leon Theremin died shortly after the shooting so he didn't have a chance to see it. And Brian Wilson's interview could be used by any of those just-say-no folks as a cautionary example of what drugs can do to you ;)

From what I've heard, he was able to see it before he died, he just didn't live to see it premiere in a theatre. Sorry, no obidm... :-( Well, except that I got Torque and Valis II over the weekend and was pretty spooked (in different ways) by both of 'em. cya brian
