hello, recently purchased a couple items by him after hearing the tracks on EL3. I've acquired "USSR Repetoire" and "Revelations of Wrath" and really enjoyed both. Was wondering what I might be missing, and of that what might be essential material to acquire. thanks. btw--should be extremely interesting to hear what him (hiphopguy) and Kevin Martin (of dronedub Techno Animal, and sporadic beat-y Sidewinder) will do together as Bug!. That and the new Ice this year...whee. Also--Sidewinder "Implant" 12" is well worth looking for despite it being pressed on quite shoddy vinyl. -- Jason J. Just a couple of pointers:- Check out most anything on Jazz Fudge, especially the 'Organised Sound' comp and also the fine french musician DJ Cam (his latest album ['Substances'] is just out in this country). Other hiphop-Kevin Martin collaborations are on the two Macro Dub Infection albums (e.g. Skull vs Ice [Skull I believe is Trevor Jackson producer of The Brotherhood and now record label supremo etc etc...] and the usual Techno Animal sound is purveyed in big beat style on the 'Unmanned' 12" on Chrome. BTW Beware of a sub-grunge NZ or Australian combo also called Sidewinder. Rubyjune.
