Blech @ Music Factory, Sheffield - September 20th
Well, the Music Factory looks mighty fine by night. (Not like when I were
a nipper, when it were called Vicars, and we 'ad our 6th form under-age
drinking parties there, and you 'ad ter wear black slip-ons and a narrow
leather tie to get in).
Unfortunately, there were another 100 people or so out in the street
enjoying the same view while attempting to get through the small doorway.
Needless to say, the club was already rammed. I lost sight of Kev@warp
who I reckoned was gonna be my only guarantee of entry, and as the top of
his head disappeared under the sea of adidas shirts, I gave in.
Got in a cab and went down to The Arches instead. After all, it was
Friday night, I'd just got off a train from Liverpool, and 6 hours of
teeth grindin' was just what the doc ordered. I'll save the head noddin'
for another time.
So... great night... but what was Blech actually like?? Anyone?
