Just picked this up and I have to say this is my favorite Gescom release to
date. The first side is pretty smooth, with lots of cool minced vocal samples,
and the second side is amazing. Only thing is, I can't figure out the time
signature is for track F2 - is it in something other than 4/4 or am I imagining
things?
On the Black Dog tip, I find the new release to be pretty good stuff - though
the ethnic influences surprised me somewhat. A nice blend of beats, everything
from hiphop to Moroccan to jungle...
