(I imagine this has to be the Hardfloor mix)

Rather a lot of tracks which have been on numerous comps and/or re-releases already, viz the Robert Armani above, Golden Girls, Jaydee, Vernon, Sabres and particularly the Age of Love - do we really need this on yet another comp? But the Model 500 is a true gem which has not been around for a long time, and the communique mix of Forgemasters is something of a rarity - beware this is not the WARP original but the one which was released on Network a year or so later. While I'm at it, can anyone tell me anything about these tracks, which I am not familiar with;

Believe it or not, yes! The solo tracks that I've heard by him are the polar opposite of Technotronic...quite nicely done too. Speaking of old-school techno/rave/whatever, I noticed on the Carl Craig DJ Kicks CD that one of the tracks is by Oliver Abeloos (Quadrophonia etc.-- anyone remember them? :-) Fun fun! On Now - TIP - "Mystical Experiences"

Disco Evangelists - David Holmes/Ashley Beedle/Jagz/Kooner from Sabres of Paradise (I think). De Niro is laden with panpipe samples from 'Once Upon A Time In America' and helicopter SFX (white noise, not a genuine chopper). An absolute classic, and well deserving of its status on Flux Trax 2. Originally released on Positiva.

Yes - out on Guerilla, with remixes by Spooky. Pretty well a million miles from 'This Beat Is Technotronic -there's a dancefloor - get on it!'. An oddity, but great ne'ertheless...

Think these are Germans - try 'Adventures of Dama' on Harthouse compilation (either 1,2 or 4 - can't remember which!). Trancey and bouncy. Andy Jackson
