No shit.
I've still got both powell hawk and guerrero decks.
It seams that quite a few skaters are getting in on the music thing.
We saw Chad Muska at the breakbeat era show a few months ago and he said
he had a studio setup in woodland hills and has been writing some d&b
tunes. He kicked Die down with a new deck and some circa gear. It was
funny to see dj die all star struck over muska, but got even better when
Die took off on his new deck and started busting some serious shit on
sunset blvd in front of the venue.
Also, Damon Way, head honcho of DC shoes and brother of skate legend
Danny Way, has a nice little studio down in San Diemas. I've only heard
a few things from him but it was kind of on the IDM tip.
Last but not least, just about everyone I know via music is hooked on
Tony Hawk Pro Skater. It's been a fixture in our house since the demo
came out last july. Current high scores in Frisco and the school are
around 682,000...hoping to break a million in the next week.
word to the mothership,
brockout.
