At the moment I don't have the CD in front of me but I do recall the names AS ONE BALIL PSYCHE and some other groups on these two CDs. I like both discs equally and if there are any of you who have suggestions for similar releases I would really really really really really (ok that's enough) like them. The guy who posted his review of this disc mentiones STASIS, what is STASIS? give me all the info possible!!!! thanks gil I also recommend LIONROCK- instinct for detection, very good quality! /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ NAME:Gil aka GMV500 E-MAIL: videla@colorado.edu WEB PAGE: yeah, right! check out my friends- http://ares.csd.net/~albumsup - http://www.uea.ac.uk/~u9506276 PHILOSOPHY: AMBIENT+BREAKDANCE= IDM FINAL WORDS: MORE BEER! \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\\/\\/\/\/\\//\/\/\/\/\/\/\\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

I'd highly recommend Freeform - Elastic Speakers (Worm Interface) too! Tony

I agree that Objects d'art 92-95 is an excellent compilation. I have almost bought Stasis - Inspiration, many times. I heard it was just OK, does anybody recommend it. If you haven't bought it yet pick up the Stasis single on mo wax, and check out the Stasis remix of Repeats Lilt-a single. Does anyone have Kape Ill meister (Stasis & Mark Broom)? I'm also curious about the Pure Plastic releases. Also for those Aphex Twin fans, there is suppose to be a new Caustic Window out on 4/29, and NME said a couple of months ago, that Aphex recorded some music for a movie called The Blood of a poet (or something like that) a Jean Cocteau movie. Cheers

Yes, it's very good. Definately worth purchasing. Not quite as impressive as my favorite Stasis material which is the Stasis half of the Stasis/Redcell CD on the B12 label.

Thought this was just "ok". I listen to the above two CD's much more than this EP. T.

INSPIRATION is an instant classic. It has all the right melodies, synth lines, detroit-influenced basslines, and abstract sounds. My favorites are: 'inspiration' 'welcome to the new age disco' 'inside' 'exosphere' 'they shit chips don't they' Read my review from Jan/Feb. 96 Derek Jordan

Kape Ill Musier's 'top' is pure bliss. A helluva lot better than 'gaspar' from EXPERIMENTA. 'the history of future' ep on mo wax? I'll be reviewing it soon. Derek no verdict yet of the Pure Plastic 12's...
