That's not really a new track if it's the 'System 7.1' mix of "Sirenes" that times in around 10:02. It was released on _Limited Addition_ back in 1994. (UK Big Life BFLD20) Andrew -- Andrew Bennett abennett@hyperreal.com, abennett@cruzio.com http://taz.hyperreal.com/~abennett/

I know this might be cheese-techno...but I heard the Jedi Knights mixed into some other jams on the Tulane University Radio's techno show the other day...I don't know how much of the music was Jedi Knights and how much was other stuff mixed, but what I heard was pretty smoothe. The music was a blend of early 80's L.A. technofunk styles mixed with acid house like underrythyms...Electronic voices mumbling in the background and all that... I was curious as to what the status of this group is...do they have a CD or do they appear on any comps or are they another of the one single washouts that are so prevalent? Also, If any listmembers have any opinions on them I would like to hear them as well. Jasonosaj

They've got an EP out on Clear records _May the Funk be With You_ which I've got, and like quite a bit. I'm pretty sure that they've got a "live" cd in the works that's going to be released pretty soon. Don't know if it's really going to be live though, as the first ep claimed to have been recorded live on Tatooine :). They are most certainly not one single washouts though. They are also known as Global Communication, Reload, Chamelon, and Link, plus a few others. I really like their Jedi Knights work though, especially side two. Some very amusing Jabba the Hut samples. -david
