i'd kill a hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold for an original coin-op of Tempest. damn I loved that game. tempest aside, the main reason i'm writing this msg is 'cause i'm looking for something. NOBODY knows what i'm talking about when i ask about this and i've been searching for years! quite frustrating as you can imagine. so if anyone can even tell me "yeah, i remember that" i would be extatic. here goes...... i remember this album from the mid to late eighties that sounded kinda like miami style rap (really heavy bass, really tinkery high end..... you know like 2 live crew) but it was all instramental. no rappin 'bout booty or nothin. this record had some of the most furious scratchin' you've ever heard. if memoery serves me it was by DJ Magic Mike. mind you i haven't heard it in at least 6 years now so i can't say that i would still think it's amazing, but i have to know! anyone? anyone?

DJ Magic Mike has at least a couple of albums and several 12"s out, but i am not sure which one you are talking about, i doubt this helps, but at least you know the guy exists. :) Derek
