->RE: crosspost (if it's from the NL you know it's going to be on IDM) Ok, so I'm here to tell the world that my mail order package from Hotmix Electro-nix has arrived and damn wouldn't you know I'm home sick from work today. 16 new slabs of hulking black/white/and red vinyl and I have got the fever for that distinctive low tech audio flavor. *AH-CHOO!* ;-) To bad for you and your bandwidth...ha ha ha! Because I plan on writing you a bit about each, one at a time. First up: ACID PLANET 9 - UNIT MOEBIUS - Golden techno classics LP If there was ever a soul sister to the magic and flow of what you might hear bearing the Detroit seal of freshness, it's coming from down here on the LOW. Make no mistake the Dutch stand on no shoulders, rather stand firmly beside in the good fight. Unit Moebius (emerging from the Bunker) in particular, has turned on and tuned into the uplifting spirit of creative dance floor sound pictures. Here on the classics LP the listener orbits in 8 dynamic and deep test flights, each performing multihandclap breakdowns, split second pauses, poltering acid loops, and an emotional intangible which returns each flight making straight A's and a few soaring A+'s. It's funny but in the realm of techno analogue knowlege, true talents can really shine. This stuff *IS* golden. Teep Please note, the easiest way to get these records is direct from the acidplanet. At present, there are only distribution allies in the UK/NL and EE-TAL-YA. Do the right thing and make contact :: acidplanet@ib.com ON NOW: RA-X (Bunker 029)
