Is there anyone out there who knows anything about PORK RECORDINGS.
Recently I picked a promo that is called A TASTE OF PORK- a collection of
pork recordings. There is some connection with ISLAND records, they must
have distributed it. The music itself is sorta' 'commercial' as some of
you would say, but I love this CD. I never want to turn it off.
It is basically a mellowed out hip hop beaty sounding collection.
Some psychedellic tonage to it as well. I highly recommend it, esp.
if you are looking for a break from all the cool kid spatula, autechre, etc.
that is coming out lately. This is definitely worth the money $12-15.

**** THE ONLY THING THAT IS KINDA' SAD IS THERE IS A STICKER ON IT THAT
SAYS: "choice cuts of pork; england's premeir AMBIENT dance label." I don't
know where they got that from, maybe I just do know england's premeir
dance label's enough, but it was news to me. I have a feeling it may just
be a marketing tactic from ISLAND. If i am wrong,let me know, but I have
never heard of PORK before I found this.****
