Sorry, I know this is a big converasational topic at the
moment, Is Goa Trance intelligent. Well is Trance
intelligent? Seems to me Intelligent Dance Music is music
that you can dance to or listen to. I like hardfloor, I
find it easy to do both, Dance and Listen. Whoever said
that Hardfloor weren't original....Acperience was one of the
originators of Acid Techno, it also helped to give the 303
the place it has today in and out of IDM.
I also like Goa Trance, it seems to me equally listenable or
Dancable.
I also like Harthouse, Eye Q and Recycle or Die alot. I
think they put out some original stuff. Some of their stuff
is Ambient R or D, Eye Q puts out a whole range of different
Dance Music, And to say that Harthouse is putting out the
same kind of thing that it did in 1993 is like saying that
warp, R&S+ Apollo, Rising High are still putting out the
same stuff. Obviously the have some of the same artists on
the label, but listen to the first three Harthouse Comps,
then the latest comp, which has people like Neil Landstrumm
on it , who's signed to Peacefrog, the new Hardfloor tracks
apparently without a 303.
