Just a quick tip for anyone on a more dubby idm tip. I just got the new "Macro Dub Infection- Vol 1",a compilation on the Virgin Label.You've got tracks from,amongst others,Spring Heel Jack,Bedouin Ascent, Omni Trio,4 Hero,The Mad Professor,Wagon Christ,Tricky,Bandulu and Earthling. The overall style veers from out and out Dub(Big bass end/mad delay and echo effects) through Ambient Jungle/Drum & Bass to more experimental abstact kind of hip-hop stuff. Well worth checking out for the more musically broadminded( It is pretty steep,pricewise,but you are getting 23 tracks on two CDs!) Steve"Babylon"Ash :-)

OK I was wrong. Today my local friendly retailer waved this in front of my face, gave me a good deal, and my patience was defeated. So I will at least spread some of the information gained. I also found and bought the second Incoming! electronic dub collection "Serenity Deb 2.1 pm". I am not going to review them, but I do recommend them. I saw it on triple vinyl (UK release so presumably the Virgin version) at the weekend, but couldn't afford it on top of all the purchases I had already made. damn! J ^

The Virgin version is available now on vinyl, albeit for $25-30. hmmm i think the top one now is the 4 Hero track - an amazing mix of dub, electro and drum&bass. the effects used to fuck up this track are truly amazing. it's my Head Track Of The Week. :D mikebee
