Richie Hawtin has confirmed two DJ dates during 2004's Winter Music
Conference in Miami.
On Saturday March 6th, Richie Hawtin performs for the first time at
WMC's biggest event, Ultra Music Festival, at Bayfront Park in
downtown Miami.
Richie Hawtin and his label, Minus, presents 'Minimize to Maximize'
on Sunday, March 7 from 10pm - 5am at Privilege (637 Washington
Avenue in Miami Beach, privilegeclubmiami.com). Room 1: Richie
Hawtin (CTRL DJ set-up), Magda (Final Scratch)
Room 2: John Acquaviva (Final Scratch), DJ Minx (Detroit)
Room 3: Matthew Dear (Live/DJ Set), Clark Warner
Richie Hawtin is nominated in the DanceStar's Best International DJ
(Non-US) category. The awards ceremony will take place at Bayfront
Park on Tuesday, March 9.
As part of the Remix Hotel lecture series at the Ritz Plaza Hotel
(1701 Collins Ave., South Miami Beach) and sponsored Digidesign,
Hawtin will speak about creating music with ProTools in the
DigiLounge on Monday, March 8th at 8pm. It is free and open to the
