went to an autechre party and the turned off every last light and were
yelling at people for opening up the door to the backroom, for letting in any amount
of light. it was pretty wicked! ive gone to another party by schematic where
there were like 3 or 4 people on stage, i swear, doing anything to get your
attention away from the music they were playing. even blew up a sex doll, and
some girl was giving head to a dildo if i recall correctly. the sad thing was
everyone was pleased, and cheered and clapped for these people when they were
finished . i sure hope they heard me and my friend yelling over the cheers for
them to play some actual music. richard divine didnt look too pleased while
they were playing either. i dont give a damn whats going on onstage. if the music
is good, its good. how are you supposed to watch whats going on onstage if ur
dancing anyway. personally id rather go see good music with no stage show as
opposed to crap with lasers and flashing lights or whatever. altho i wouldve
like to have seen the aphex twin with those damn dancing bears! that shit
