i totally agree - saw him last night here in sf @ the peacock lounge and
was blown away.... audiance participation! death pacts! when i went
outside and listened, he did sound a bit like barman sonicly, but
content was totally different. it was more n.i.n.-ish and heartfelt (for
me, that's a compliment :) it's also really fun to say "cex was really
great last night" to folks that don't know what you are talking about ;)
don't get me wrong, paul barman is the shizz - "making granny's panties
moist!" n all that, but to compare him to cex is fully an apples 'n
oranges kinda deal if you ask me.
