XM is satellite, I believe? Similar to how you can get most of the
stations on the normal telly broadcast using just an antenna, but
need somethign else for satellite TV (and a subscriber's fee).
It will be very interesting, though, if cellular technology gets to
the point where you can stream music. Not only can anyone with an
internet connection basically be a radio, but it would likely
severely hamper traditional radio. Now *that* would piss of RIAA.
