Can I just pull Brian up on the detail. BF isn't 'from Pole'. Pole is Stefan Betke. Stefan Betke runs the ~scape label which BF has released on. BF did contribute remixes to Pole's last full-length _r_. He has also produced music under the Nonplace Urban Field moniker and is one half of Flanger (smartarsed po-mo lounge-jazz-d'n'b trickery). There's a recent album with Can's old drummer Jackie Liebezeit too. I agree he's a clever lad, and quite prolific, but for some reason I have yet to really enjoy anything he's done (plus I can't quite see how he qualifies for inclusion in a 'most important' list). alan/beyond...sound ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: www-mail.usyd.edu.au --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
