It was OK - like most SKAM stuff nowadays it was a mixture of pretty good, somewhat nondescript, and occasionally bloody awful.
It was a 2 hour show with 15 minute sets from various artists. The best bits were probably quinoline yellow, freeform (stuff from the new LP, sounds similar to audiotourism but with slightly less 'found sound') & bola (who played rejigged versions of fyuti tracks).
The gescom set was a bit tuneless, other sets from meam, team doyobi and alder and elius were OK, nothing special. Wevie Stonder were even worse than I expected (I'd never heard them before).
The guys from SKAM gave a bit of a background to the label which was interesting. They also got very defensive before the Wevie Stonder set, saying people don't like it - I guess most people just preferred it when they were putting out consistently amazing cutting edge electronic music to the current patchy output.
Dan.
