THANK YOU for your advice and for enthusiastically sharing your
opinions.
I received too many posts to answer each individually - but just to
let you know my decidion - I'm not buying it. After actually seeing
the device on offer, it became evident by the scuffed edges etc. that
it was rather older than the supposed 6 months, which immediately had
me doubting the integrity of the seller (whom I haven't met). Also
the volume control on the remote was not working and it had no
instruction manual (and I have absolutey no clue how to input, label
or shuffle tracks).
Also, seeing I will not be doing any field or live recordings, this
is not entirely the most useful gadget for me and it would in effect
be just a rather expensive toy.
Many thanks to all again - I truly value getting such rapid and
helpful answers to my questions!
