Genocide and Juice was always my favorite. The Coup somehow managed to
seamlessly blend ghetto East Oakland rap with brilliant political/social
commentary to create their own unique sound. They just switched over to 75
Ark Records (Automator's label) and recently released a new 12inch entitled
"5 Million Ways to Kill a CEO". Haven't had a chance to pick it up yet so I
don't know how it sounds, but the new album should be out soon. Dope live
show as well. Last time I saw them @ Maritime in Frisco, Pam the Funkstress
did a nice scratch routine whilst simultaneously removing her bra from
underneath her shirt. Good shit.
