Funny coz I went back to it in the last week or so. I did so with the full intention of listening to the tracks I'd previously thought didn't stand out and weren't doing anything for me, but I just ended up listening to the tracks I already liked the most again. Clint, which tracks are your favourites? Mem

In The Field With Brian is a nice intro. I thought the album kind of peaked around this time last year with Monarchs, and nothing else was really grabbing me for a while. I was ready to give up, but I gave it more attention. I really like Margin of Error. Waveguiding in particular is doing things for me. So far, the first half (apart from Monarchs) just bores me and the second half has some really good stuff. >> >> Some filler on here, but a good handful of tracks worthy of dumping into a separate and regularly listened to playlist. It seems now that in the modular world people are finally moving away from wankery and into more musical territories. As much as I love sound design and appreciate modular gear for that aspect, I've not seen it applied much in a musical regard. >>>> From: Chris Taylor <christaylor415@gmail.com> >>>> Sent: Thursday, August 25, 2016 1:57:50 PM >>>> To: Clint Anderson >>>> Cc: c. jones; do id >>>> >>>> Subject: Re: New Datach'i "System" >>>> >>>> pretty good display of modulars being used for nice musical stuff that's very tightly structured >>>> >>>> >>>> >>>>> On Thu, Aug 25, 2016 at 3:55 PM, Chris Taylor <christaylor415@gmail.com> wrote: >>>>> you totally nailed it Kent on the mastering and sonic character. it's still super clean and polished, something i liked about his earlier work. but yeah more subdued. >>>>> >>>>> pretty good display of modulars being used to nice musical stuff that's very tightly structured >>>>> >>>>>> On Thu, Aug 25, 2016 at 3:42 PM, Clint Anderson <clinta@gmail.com> wrote: >>>>>> i dunno something happened and now im listening to mission of burma >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> Clint Anderson >>>>>> Systems Engineer >>>>>> "Freedom -- paint me a picture!" -- Burton Cummings >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>>> On Thu, Aug 25, 2016 at 2:37 PM, c. jones <coda27@hotmail.com> wrote: >>>>>>> My CD was in the mailbox last night with an additional CD included of enough bonus tracks it might as well be another album. Other than that, I tried to avoid listening to anything from it before it's arrival. Might have to put a coupla' bucks on mum's credit card and buy a joint to enhance the listening experience. I really like Datach'i's drill n' bass of yore, though I'm obviously not expecting anything of the sort. Really just hoping for an old-fashioned IDM album. >>>>>>> From: Peacejunk <peacejunk1@gmx.net> >>>>>>> Sent: Thursday, August 25, 2016 4:06:12 AM >>>>>>> To: c. jones >>>>>>> Cc: do id >>>>>>> Subject: Re: New Datach'i "System" >>>>>>> >>>>>>> Yesterday I have received the vinyl. >>>>>>> The bonus track didn’t come with the download for me. >>>>>>> >>>>>>>> Am 25.08.2016 um 08:02 schrieb c. jones <coda27@hotmail.com>: >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> Looks like I need to check my mail... >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> (not that the bonus tracks are sitting out there in my mailbox lol, but I did order the CD several months back...I don't remember what all came with such physical release) >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> From: Seth Branum <djmanos@gmail.com> >>>>>>>> Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2016 10:44:58 PM >>>>>>>> To: kent williams >>>>>>>> Cc: do id >>>>>>>> Subject: Re: New Datach'i "System" >>>>>>>> >>>>>>>> Did anyone on here get the bonus tracks?
