And *allegedly* he blew all that cash on whores n booze, just like all the
quality idm musicians do today ;)

*allegedly* he made the most money off 'the magic flute' which the "snobs"
didn't like cos it was too low brow, what with faeiries and magical birds and
shit... though in Germany the Opera was/is oft considered the music of the
working/agrarian class and they were frequently the biggest audiences, Opera
became snobbier when royalty ceased gravy-training those "worthless sod
musicians and orchestras.... apparently
