It fucking rules. This is melody, this is nostalgia, this is good beats and
grooves without any of it being cloying. If you like BOC, you owe yourself a
copy of this album.
Questions: "My Dog Eats Beats" - is it me, or is there a major sample from
an old Exist Dance tune in it?
I've got "Are We Not Men Who Live and Die", "Rewind", "Feelings on a
Screen", and "14 Zero Zero". Let's say I wanna do a technopop styled DJ set
for an upcoming gig - anybody have other songs they'd suggest? I'm sure if I
rummaged around my records I could find a few, I think the Fizzarum record
on Domino has a hint of vocals to it, and I aim to pick up "Expo 2000" the
next time I'm at Johnny Law, but what else should I be spinning in this
vein?
