i think a good example of the "later" ae melody is track 3 on chiastic slide - tewe. full of tons of little melodies and bits that mix together and are sort of "hiding" with everything else. from what i've understood of music theory, there are many examples of timbral melody in "tewe". plus the implied tempo changes and just everything about it is really great :D also, as i've said before when this has come up on the list, and as a couple people vocally agreed, Zeiss Contarex (track 9) on ep7 is incredible :D cheers, /derek - - - - - Alice could not help her lips curing up into a smile as she began: "Do you know, I always thought Unicorns were fabulous monsters, too! I never saw one alive before!" "Well, now that we HAVE seen each other," said the Unicorn, "if you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you. Is that a bargain?" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
