i wouldn't waste time or money, and just buy a technics 1200 mkII.
you'll probably end up buying one eventually.
search for used ones first. i just bought 2 used ones that are
faaaaaaaantastic!
couldn't be happier.
new they're $500-600 US
used i got 2 for $700
