mtv is full of shit. they claim to promote civil rights for gays and
lesbians and then parade eminem on their awards show, in the name of
"letting everyone express differing viewpoints". it's all about the
fucking money to these corporate stooges.
corporations marginalize political and social dissidence into market
share. it's a damn shame.
amp got killed because the audience wasn't profitable enough. no
teeny boppers into it. i'm sure when electronica reaches critical
mass and starts hitting charts in the u.s., we'll see mtv bring in
tomorrow's brand name electric acts so that they can express their
"viewpoints".
