I can't speak for Data Life, but I just got Slip WIsh+ the other day and I've really been digging it. When the description says that it's very Artificial Intelligence, the writer wasn't kidding. Reminds me of a lot of Plaid, with less funk at times. Lush analog pads are pretty much the theme. THere's a bit of updated rhythm programming, but enjoyable to listen to. I do however wish there was a little more innovation in the music. np.
