To be fair though, I think it's difficult to be constructively critical
about something that you just don't like. Supposing you are wrong and it
really _is_ crap. Ie, nobody likes it, even "the kind of people who like
that sort of stuff" who you thought were going to. Sometimes it's easy to
see the artistic merit in something even if you find it unpleasant, but not
always.
So far I have written two reviews for the list. I would write more but apart
from the sheer difficulty of adequately describing instrumental electronic
music it's hard to avoid from value judgements like these.
I just end up sitting fretting over it. (Wouldn't you on this list?) Which
is a pity because I would like to be able to get on with it and get reviews
for my entire collection online, something that would take a few years even
if I did one or two a day.
