Well, first, I intend on keeping my releases in print and available. (You can still get my first cassette directly from me. Some people from Russia have. Go figure.) If something goes out of print, I will try to figure out a way to keep it available, preferably in a way in which it can potentially be a source of income (e.g. CD-R on-demand). Then the other trick for anyone is to avoid signing contracts in which you give away rights to your work indefinitely. I compose with the idea that people will be able to hear the material. My order of preference for how to make it available to them is: 1. Keep it in print 2. Make it available, even if only CD-R on-demand 3. Authorized MP3s 100.
