Well, dunno if I disagree, having not heard much, but there's always Tone Rec on Sub Rosa (hope I got the right one), and when I was in Paris in July I heard a local comp of noisy ambient and minimal clicky freak shit. You could say it was all derivative of Mego etc, I guess, if you were feeling particularly dismissive, but, well, it at least showed some variety of stuff getting released.
