(paradox intended) France is a nation of many millions of people, certainly there is some good electronic music being made there. I, for one, find Funky Derrick's "Boogie Dawn" to be a righteous kickin' house album (he's French). I won't even discuss MC Solaar. I do find it slightly odd how the dude at Other Music asked me if I was into "French stuff" like it was some huge trend in trip-hoppy electronica dug by throngs of soundboys.
