HMV typically sells CDs at $18 now!
That's close to what CDs cost when they were first introduced, and
the factory rejection rate was something like 70%.
Of course, HMV instituted those silly score cards - "Buy 10, Get 1
Free" - a move which coincided with raising prices. Nice trick.
