That would spoil it. >> In my case, the in-store listening stations tend to yield the opposite of their intended purpose...since I also like to buy music on whim/cool artwork/tenuous connection to other material, actually being able to listen to something in the store is a tough test for the material in question to pass. It's really gotta be excellent to succeed in the store, because if it's only average, I'll think, "Well this is OK, but there's all this other stuff here I could buy instead!" Whereas if I get something home unlistened and it's only average, I think "OK, it's part of my collection now, so I need to give it a chance."
