Lance and Daniel already covered the info on this one, but I though I'd
drop a little more about Certificate 18, which has grown over the years
to be one of my favorite labels.
The last dozen releases, including the Hidden Rooms II and Klute LPs,
have been some of the most ground breaking records to come out in a
while. Tracks like Polar's "Mind of a Killer" and the photek remix of
Klute's "Silent Weapon" are extremely minimal but absolutely beautiful
pieces of music. Going back, the 'black science labs' (aka teebee)
single and the original "Relics" are smashers. And then there's the
really weird ones, like ae's rmx of "Hypnotise".
I'm really interested to see what cert18's got up their sleeve next!
