when darren mentioned that he was looking for stuff like i-f, i gravitated
toward the more new wave oriented stuff. carl finlow (voice stealer,
random factor, il.ek.tro) might also fit this bill, depending on how
varied his tastes are beyond the gutterbass that is a hallmark of the
dutch electro-wave records. ersatz audio and suction, along with finlow
having more refined production, are also influenced by new wave themes
with their own flair for updating.
then again, this could all just be free legwork for the skinny site, in
which case i'd ask for compensation in the form of them getting rid of the
droolingly retarded ad that prefaces each realaudio snippet.
