You rang? Yeah, I've been hiding out for the past month, but Nu Era's enough to cause me to de-lurk. I agree w/ you on the DSoT track, it was ok, but I expected more. I guess now I'm going to have to buy Freezone 3. :) Every time I play Beyond Gravity, I ask myself "why don't Dego & Mark do more of this?". The album's not perfect, but I listen to it regularly, more than their other stuff. I think the album starts off on the wrong foot, a track with a repeating riff that I find kinda annoying. The second track seems like it's going in the same direction, but then some smooth chords takeover and save it. The 3rd & 4th tracks are two versions of the same track, Mono Concentrate, and are some of the greatest melancholy Detroit-style Techno ever. I'd say it's worth the price of the album just for these two tracks. The last 5 tracks are more upbeat Techno, mostly very good, though the last one suffers from rather severe tuning problems which greatly diminish my ability to enjoy it. I got my copy thru CDEurope several years ago for maybe $25. I'm guessing it's out-of-print now - does this mean collector's prices have set in? It's hard to say what it's worth, but it's a shame it's not more widely available. Che PS - I saw 4 Hero's Two Pages for cheap at either CDNow or Music Blvd, but it didn't say anything about 1 or 2 CDs. It did have a tracklisting. Has anyone researched this???
