I dont know if this has been posted as I have been having email problems
lately. . in any case, there is a VERY interesting little story at
http://www.negativeland.com/riaa/dowesue.html about the "copyright
infringement" of sampling.
Although negativeland may not fall purely into the IDM category, this could
have more broad reaching affects towards music as a whole.
I would like to hear some opinions on this article
