Almost every review I've read has referred to him as a "Japanese Beck." His
album is supposed to be enormously cut and paste and a whole lot of fun, with
some My Bloody Valentine influences, but mostly just his own creativity
bursting at the seams (and not always cohering, but what would you expect from
an album like that?)
