Amon Tobin - Bricolage Spring Heel Jack - Busy Thirsty Curious Photek - Modus Operandi Squarepusher - Hard Normal Daddy All are ostensibly Drum & Bass, but stray so far from the orthodoxy of conventional D&B that they have almost nothing in common with D&B other than certain drum programming techniques (importantly, not the sounds, just the techniques). Name an album that sounds remotely like any of these. To me, they're as far apart as SAW I is from Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld. Autechre - Chiastic Slide Ae continues to forge their own path, to the point where there are now people trying to emulate their style from Incunabula onwards. Che
