My oldest IDM-record is probably Polygon Window (aka Aphex Twin) 'Surfing on Sinewaves' Warp 7, Artificial Intelligence series (that's probably where they got the name IDM) It sounds early nineties - well, it IS early nineties. It has single-layered synths (not those complicated sounds of modern synths, but just one waveform) and tr-303 or tr-909 drums. And there's this message on the back which is typical for young labels like Warp in those days, it says: 'If you're on the same wavelength, send you tapes to Warp' Cute isn't it ;-) --==v^v^v==-- Mathias Verraes ET.phone.home@ThePentagon.com Demi-Sick (live triphop & drum'n'bass) http://www.biosys.net/demisick demisick@biosys.net --==v^v^v==--
